Who can vote?
Anyone.
Can my dog (cat, kid, fish, cactus) vote?
If your dog has their own email address, then yes, they can vote. If your dog uses your email address, then they can vote, but you can’t. Only one vote per email address is allowed.
How do we vote?
Starting on May 1, 2025, there will be a voting platform accessible through the Amplitude website, livingwithamplitude.com. When voting for a facility, enter the name and exact address of the specific location in order for your vote to count. Only individual locations are eligible.
Can I vote every day during the 2-month voting period?
No, sorry. One vote per email address is allowed.
I could use a free email-address-generating platform and create a thousand email addresses. Would that be legitimate?
Nope, that won’t work. We’re using a voting platform that can detect fraud. Plus, the Amplitude team will be manually verifying the winner’s votes. Keep it honest. Please.
Are there consequences if I cheat?
Yep. The consequence is disqualification for this year’s awards, plus you will not be eligible to participate in any future Reader’s Choice Awards. Sorry, we don’t reward cheaters.
How did you determine the regions?
We chose the regions based on time zones because it’s a regional division that everyone is familiar with. Using time zones also matches the way we divide up prosthetic facility regions in our sister publication, The O&P EDGE.
Why didn’t you go state-by-state?
That would result in more than 400 winners. We’re starting small this year and planning to grow the Reader’s Choice Awards every year.
Why is there so much time between the voting and the results?
As publishers, we work on the magazine issues several months in advance. The survey runs until June 30, and we start laying out the magazine in September. We need July and August to tally and review the results, verify the winning votes, and also to create some additional editorial content that will complement the results.

We believe excellence and expertise knows no bounds. Will the winners be notified in advance?
Absolutely! However, winners will need to sign an agreement not to leak their fantastic achievement to anyone until the results are published.

Where will my ad appear?
Print ads will be in the Reader’s Choice Awards section of the November/December 2025 issue of Amplitude magazine. We’ll also be featuring a flipbook version of the issue on the homepage of livingwithamplitude.com that will run throughout 2026. Additionally, we’ll be distributing a special Amplitude enewsletter with all the results.
